INFORMATION CENTER TRAINEE RESEARCHER (JOB NUMBER: 2303GBK14391) **About the job** - The Information Center team supports all European BNP Paribas Mergers & Acquisitions teams (Paris, London, Madrid, Frankfurt, Milan ) with business research activities - We ensure a prompt response through a wide range of specialized databases - We provide added value / in-depth research on specific Industries or companies - We help our clients to clearly detail / specify their information needs and guide them in undertaking their own research - We ensure a close link with our internal client throughout the whole of the research period - We ensure a high level of confidentiality of information we provide - We ensure close and regular contact with our database providers - As a Business Information Researcher Trainee, you will be joining a team of business Information Specialists with a wide experience of databases, learn research methodologies, have access to varied databases, and learn how to answer business queries **Your Main Activities Are** - Conducting Information searches (sector research, company research, macro-economic research...) in order to identify major players, market shares, potential investment opportunities and trends. - Learning how to supplement / enrich our documents (electronic) collection - Learning how to Identify and collate data - Leveraging on previous work to provide our clients with solid results and value added advice - Participating to the team’s presentation to new joiners - Participating in all the team’s documentary products and projects **Profile and Skills to Success** - Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Finance, Journalism) - Advanced level in English - Knowledge and interest in economics, markets, finance - Knowledge of MS Office - Open to learning, ability to assimilate quickly and effectively - Curiosity - Customer-oriented and ability to finalize work quickly and accurately - Collaborative and good interpersonal and communication skills - Good team spirit - Adaptability and ability to operate in an environment with often changing priorities - Rigor LI-Hybrid **Why joining BNP Paribas?** - **Leading banking institution** BNP Paribas is a leader in the Eurozone, and a prominent international banking institution with strong roots in Europe's banking history.
