Every day, we work to provide integrated solutions that transform how our customers develop, test, and ship the software they make.
**The Role**
The newest _Content Marketing Manager_ will report directly to the _Head of Marketing_ to support our content marketing strategy in establishing ourselves as Thought Leaders in the software testing and quality industry. In this role, you will be vital in helping us scale our content across our different industry verticals and campaigns, maintain our guest writer program, and support all of our marketing campaigns with creative and on-brand copy and content. You will contribute to our marketing efforts by writing engaging copy and content for our lead-gen channels, including our website, blog, landing pages, and newsletters. You will also be responsible for our social media management and community building.
**What you'll do**
- Write blog posts, source new guest writers, and help maintain our guest writer relationship program
- Develop and structure our content plan and manage its execution
- Talk directly with the design team with detailed briefings to take our content to the next level
- Source new customer success cases, build and maintain the relationship with clients and assist with the authorization processes
- Interview current customers, team members, industry thought leaders, or other testing community members to write more compelling content
- Write engaging, on-brand copy and content for our newsletters, ebooks, landing pages, sales materials, and others
- Help manage our social channels while writing engaging social copy
- Community engagement: find and build relationships with influencers in the industry, source new communities to engage with, respond to posts,
- Become an expert in the software development and testing industry so that you can write meaningful, informative, compelling blog articles, white papers, and other types of content with authority and confidence
- Help the other teams at Xray with copyediting requests to maintain style and voice control over any content that will see the light of day
**Main requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field
- Background in content writing and editing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. (Native or nearly native with a portfolio of marketing copy and blog content)
- 2-3 years of experience in B2B marketing (technology industry preferred)
- Experience with social media community building and management (Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Instagram)
- Digitally native, you feel comfortable with social media and are up to date on trends
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of SEO
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
- Knowledge of leading development tools (Github, Gitlab, Jenkins, etc.)
- Background in Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of Hubspot or other CMS systems like WordPress
- Experience working in a startup environment
