he mac and mobile engineering team creates the SDKs and products that provide a malware free experience to millions of customers on their devices. We work directly with product management, quality assurance, security, and research teams to the protection our customers deserve. We love innovation, ambition, and a desire to be your best.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Lead a talented team of Mac and mobile (iOS and Android) developers.
- Design, architect, and deliver industry-leading SDKs for Mac and mobile (iOS and Android)
- Evolving the core technology, the SDK is built on, investing in making it easier for our engineers to build and maintain an SDK that is reliable, sustainable, observable, extensible, and high quality
- Work closely with other teams to deliver features from the roadmap.
- Driving the team make good technical decisions while developing the next generation of Malwarebytes mobile products.
- Lead architectural discussions, code reviews and solving technical challenges.
- Work with team members on their growth plans so they can achieve their best.
- Encourage and work with your team to create innovative methods for reducing toil.
- Provide leadership, skills development opportunities, and mentoring to engineers on your team.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, creating of backlogs, requirements refinement.
- Interview and hire new engineers as the teams grow.
- Work closely with other engineering leaders to build on the already great work environment at Malwarebytes.

**Skills You’ll Need to Have**:

- 3+ years of software engineering team management experience.
- 10+ years professional software engineering experience.
- Technical leadership experience to drive innovation in your products.
- Experience on delivering mobile products with native mobile development environments.
- Effective in managing team priorities.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms for mac and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in Mac and Mobile technologies (Java/Kotlin, Swift, Mac and Mobile App Architecture and working with REST APIs).
- Understanding underlying concepts of operating systems.
- Highly self-motivated, smart and the need to get things done.
- Be the foundation for a positive team attitude.
- The ability to give and receive constructive feedback. To be an active listener for your team member

**Nice to have skills**:

- Prior experience in building Mac and mobile SDKs
- Source management skills with Github or similar technology.
- Experience building software in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices.
