**General Description**

We are looking for a Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) Modeling Intern who is passionate about offshore wind technologies and enjoys the unique challenges of growing business in an emerging industry. You will join Principle Power’s Strategy team inside the Commercial organization, a high-performing and dynamic team that is focused on positioning Principle Power as the global leader in the emerging floating wind sector.

**Main Accountabilities**

The proposed internship is focused on the further development of Principle Power’s existing LCOE model:

- Develop existing and new features/tools in Principle Power’s LCOE Model
- Engage with engineering disciplines across the organization to collect data and intel to be integrated in the LCOE Model
- Perform O&M Modeling simulations and run sensitivity analyses on OPEX and wind farm availability
- Develop and maintain CAPEX and OPEX databases
- Collect market and industry intelligence to improve the existing cost databases and for benchmarking
- Extend/Adapt the existing LCOE model to include LCOE+H (Hydrogen) calculation capabilities
- Perform any other tasks within the Commercial team that are relevant for the group’s objectives

**Skills & Competencies**
- Academic/Professional experience with offshore energy or other marine energies will be viewed favorably
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy/power sector economics and offshore renewables markets
- Familiarity with offshore wind technology
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Power Point, Word. Familiarity with programming and databases are advantages
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
- Languages: Fluent in English; Other languages are viewed as a plus
