We are looking for a Data Enablement Lead within our Data Strategy team, part of the Data and Analytics Center of Excellence (D&A CoE). The team is working to build Bose into an elite data organization by modernizing Bose data through enterprise data standards, architectures, and governance. This will enable analytics and data science teams across the company to drive insights in areas like price optimization, demand forecasting, real-time personalization, and product strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Propose and enforce data management best practices and data governance policies and rules across different functions of the company for data that supports business objectives and improves competitive position and profitability.- Design and operationalize a federated operating model that involves cross-functional leadership and commitment to provide, enforce, and sustain data architecture standard and governance policies/processes.- Create and execute on data certification processes that increases trust in shared data and analytics across the enterprise, including data in the analytics platform and KPIs in executive dashboards. Ability to leverage data cataloging and governance tools, like Collibra or Alation, in the certification process.- Define and implement a data quality approach for master data and data in the analytics platform that leverages best-fit technology and in accordance with business data rules.
Skills, Knowledge And Experiences-
- Be proactive with best practices using industry leading data platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, PowerBI, and Collibra.- Proven experience of cross functional leadership in sophisticated organizations with strong emphasis on influencing and teamwork. Excellent interpersonal skills, accountability, written and verbal communication skills, time management are key competencies to this position.- Ability to analyze sophisticated data and ability to communicate data management concepts to technical and non-technical staff, to work independently with mínimal direction including the organization and prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines and department goals.
