**PORTUGUESE SPEAKING CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT - PORTO, PORTUGAL**

Our client in the medical indstry is looking for a Portuguese speaking Customer Service Agent to join their offices in the region of Porto, Portugal. The Customer Service is responsible for book, revise or cancel customers’ orders, calculations of new items structures or revision, invoicing, price list updates, contact with customers answering questions or/ and giving information, elaboration margin reports, samples requests, control and report backorders to customers, handling complaints and present solutions, distribution agreement management, support to sales team, analysis and preparation of all documentation/ requirements for tenders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/ tools
- Meet personal/ customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies (In Medical companies this is “key”)
- Take the extra mile to engage customers

**Requirements**:

- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
- Fluency in Portuguese and in English, both in speech and writing (other languages are welcome)
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft (Excel & Word) practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/ respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Sales-oriented approach
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
- Ability to collaborate with mid and senior management across the business
- Capable to work under (time) pressure
- Detail and process oriented
