We are a Canadian organization establishing a high-standard private residence in **central Lisbon**. As part of this relocation, we are hiring a skilled and dependable **Private Chef** to prepare daily meals and support a calm, organized household.

This is a private, respectful environment - not a restaurant or commercial setting. If you take pride in your cooking, value structure and privacy, and prefer consistent, peaceful work, this is an excellent opportunity.

**Position Overview**

You will be responsible for preparing daily meals and maintaining high hygiene standards in a private home serving one to two professionals. You will work in a fully equipped, well-maintained kitchen with full support for ingredients and scheduling.

**Main Duties**:

- Prepare 1-2 fresh meals daily (lunch and/or dinner)
- Plan menus with Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, or healthy international options
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized after each shift
- Coordinate or assist with grocery sourcing (paid for)
- Optionally prepare teas, fresh drinks, or light desserts

**Bonus: Baking is a Strong Advantage**

Experience with baking (bread, pastries, cakes, or traditional baked goods) is **highly valued** and may lead to additional hours or bonus pay. This is not required, but creativity in the kitchen is welcome.

**Optional Light Household Support (Preferred, Not Required)**

This may include:

- Light surface cleaning near the kitchen
- Fridge or pantry organizing
- Occasional table setting or household coordination

These tasks are **optional**, but flexibility and a helpful spirit are greatly appreciated — and often lead to long-term collaboration.

**Location & Schedule**
- **Location**: Central Lisbon (exact address shared privately)
- **Hours**: 3-5 hours/day, 5-6 days/week
- **Start Date**: 22/08/2025
- **Trial Period**: Initial **30-day paid trial**:

- **Future Option**: Possibility for **long-term or permanent employment** after the trial if mutual fit is confirmed

**Compensation**
- **€12-€18 per hour**, based on experience and skills
- Paid weekly or biweekly
- All ingredients and tools provided
- Bonus pay possible for baking or extra contributions
- Experience in private cooking, home chef, or boutique kitchen settings
- Strong sense of cleanliness, time management, and discretion
- Fluent in Portuguese; **basic English is enough**:

- Already located in Lisbon, Cascais, or Sintra
- Comfortable working independently in a respectful, structured household
