Leader Gaia is recruiting an Accounting Manager for a client located in Porto.

**Função**:

- Full management of accounting up to the balance sheet and tax return.
- Entering accounting records (customer and supplier invoices, bank transactions).
- Bank reconciliations.
- Monitoring and controlling VAT entries and tax declarations.
- Preparation and tracking of fixed assets.
- Managing customer and supplier accounts.
- Monitoring payments and customer follow-ups.
- Managing supplier payments and expense reports.
- Preparing inventory entries (depreciation, provisions, adjustments).
- Carrying out monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Producing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet).
- Preparing payroll statements and social declarations.
- Monitoring social charges and relations with social organizations (URSSAF, pension funds).
- Preparing monthly and annual reports.
- Analyzing variances between forecasts and actual results.
- Contributing to the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Managing contracts (insurance, external services).
- Monitoring cash flow, loans, and banking relationships.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to legal and tax obligations.

**Requisitos**:

- Bachelor's +5 in Accounting with Certification (e.g., former TOC certification).
- Minimum 5 years in an accounting firm.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar position, ideally in an SME or multitasking environment.
- Languages: Portuguese, French, English, Spanish.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
- Proficiency in Sage and Excel software.
- Knowledge of payroll management and labor law.
- Financial analysis and budget management skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, autonomy, and versatility.
- Strong communication skills to interact with teams and external partners.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality of information.
