We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate in Civil Engineering or Architecture to join our technical team. As a Junior Property Inspector, you will be the "eyes on the ground," providing the critical data that powers our AI platform. You will conduct technical inspections of residential and commercial properties, and your detailed reports will form the foundation of our transparent and reliable service. This is a perfect part-time opportunity to launch your career, gain hands-on experience, and grow with a forward-thinking company. **What You'll Do (Main Responsibilities)** - Conduct on-site technical inspections of residential and commercial properties across various regions of Portugal. - Assess key property components, including structural integrity, finishes, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. - Produce detailed, high-quality inspection reports, complete with photographic evidence and clear technical descriptions. - Verify property compliance with fundamental Portuguese building codes and maintenance standards. - Collaborate with the senior team, communicating your findings to support our data analysis and valuation processes. - Uphold our high standards for quality and accuracy in every inspection. **Who You Are (Requirements)** - **A Recent Graduate**: You have recently obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture. - **Technically Minded**: You have a foundational understanding of building structures, materials, and systems, with an ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. - **Bilingual Communicator**: You are fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English (minimum B1), with the ability to write technical reports and communicate effectively in both languages. - **Highly Organized**: You have strong writing skills and a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to documentation. - **Independent & Proactive**: You thrive working independently in a remote setting and are a proactive, critical thinker who enjoys solving problems. - **Eager to Learn**: You are responsible, curious, and excited to build your expertise in the real estate technology sector. - **Mobile**: You have the availability and willingness to travel for on-site inspections as scheduled. **Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)** - Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software. - Previous academic or practical experience writing technical reports. - A basic understanding of building energy certifications in Portugal. - A valid driver’s license (Category B). **What We Offer: More Than Just a Job** - **True Flexibility**: Part-time, flexible hours perfect for balancing with postgraduate studies or personal projects. - **Hands-On Learning & Mentorship**: Receive direct training on Portuguese technical regulations and best practices in property inspection from experienced professionals. - **Career Growth & Impact**: Start in a key role at a fast-growing AI startup.
