Connecting Software is looking for a-
- **Junior IT Administrator**:

- Funchal, Madeira (On-Site Only)-
- **About the Role**
- **Key Responsibilities**- Assist in monitoring and maintaining company networks, servers, PCs, and notebooks.
- Support the installation, configuration, and upgrading of hardware and software.
- Assist with the implementation of basic security protocols and procedures.
- Help manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Perform routine diagnostics and troubleshooting of IT systems.
- Document IT processes clearly and assist with data backup and archiving tasks.
- Provide first-level support to internal users and escalate issues as necessary.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in IT administration.

**Requirements**- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical training/experience.
- Some hands-on experience in IT, gained through internships, academic projects, or previous work experience (minimum 6 months preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and user support.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and IT support fundamentals.
- Eagerness to develop skills with Microsoft technologies (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, structured, and responsible approach to work.

**Desirable Skills**- Exposure to any of the following: Hyper-V, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, Dynamics NAV, or VPN technologies.
- Basic understanding of IT security principles.
