**NonStop Consulting** offers an open vacancy of a **Global Category Manager** focusing on **Direct Procurement **to join an international, dynamic and supportive Procurement team of our client, which is a global biopharmaceutical company, which focuses on reproduction treatment.
**Your mission in this role**:
- manage global direct procurement category;
- Build a category strategy;
- Ensure that the Procurement strategy is aligned and implemented across Sites, according to the Global Procurement vision and strategy;
- Maximize the impact of procurement activities in terms of supplier risk mitigation, supplier performance management, supplier relationship development, the total cost of ownership reduction, supplier-enabled innovation, supplier-related ESG development and support to productivity/efficiency improvements;
- Continuously enhance the performance of Procurement across sites and categories through the development of best practices and continuous improvement.
**Your profile**:
- Degree in Economics or Engineering related field;
- min. 5 years of experience in Procurement Category management;
- Strong communication, influencing and mentoring skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Experienced in working with SAP/Oracle / other ERP;
- Experience in dealing with commercial contracts;
- Experience in project management;
- Strong skills with MS Office set;
- Ability to represent our client’s interests to outside professionals and suppliers;
- Comprehensive understanding of Procurement processes and knowledge of best practices for sourcing, supplier management and procure-to-pay.
