This will significantly increase your chances of success________________________________________________________________About the RoleWe are looking for a Business Analyst – Application Support to join a dynamic squad. This role bridges the gap between technology and business — designing, testing, and supporting systems that empower actuarial teams to deliver accurate insights and reports.You’ll work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with developers, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure systems meet business needs and are effectively supported.Main Responsibilities· Provide training and support to end-users and actuarial teams, ensuring effective system utilization.· Collaborate within an Agile Squad to design and implement scalable and reliable solutions for data management, risk modeling, and reporting.· Design and write test cases, execute and track testing activities.· Manage and monitor support requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution.· Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align priorities.· Record, qualify, and prioritize anomalies, ensuring prompt correction and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications🎓 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 💼 Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking, insurance, or actuarial sector.Technical Skills (Must-Have)· Excel (VBA) – advanced level· SQL (Structured Query Language)· Software Testing experience· Knowledge of ITIL 4 framework· Familiarity with JIRA and ServiceNowSoft Skills· Strong client orientation and a proactive service mindset· Autonomous, with initiative and problem-solving skills· Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities· Adaptability to evolving priorities and new tools· Fast learner, able to take on new assignments efficientlyAdditional Information· Availability to travel within and outside Portugal when needed.· Flexibility to work outside normal office hours in exceptional cases.🚀 What We’re Looking ForIf you’re a detail-oriented analyst who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, enjoys working in agile teams, and values continuous improvement — we’d love to hear from you🔑 Keywords (must appear on your CV):Business Analyst, Application Support, Excel VBA, SQL, Software Testing, ITIL 4, JIRA, ServiceNow, Risk, Reporting, Reinsurance, Agile, Banking, Insurance, Actuarial Systems, Stakeholder Communication, English, French.#CI
