As part of a well-established and trusted company, we’re offering you the unique chance to combine the stability of a successful organization with the excitement of building something new from the ground up Tasks The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the processing of aircraft material, including physical handling, inspection, and forwarding to repair shops or the customer. This includes ensuring high-quality and timely provision of materials in close coordination with the customer. Responsibilities and Tasks including but are not limited to the following: Receiving, clarification, storing, supplying and shipping of mainly aircraft material as per described procedures including physical handling Input data in EDP system and archive documentation according to established procedures Ensure that regulatory requirements are fulfilled, e.g., verifying airworthiness certificates for aircraft materials Work according to the Quality Management System and proactively work to resolve discrepancies Communicate with colleagues, customers, and vendors and prioritize and process customer requests, supply issues, and complaints Behind the scenes Video: Lufthansa Technik PortugalTaking off together Benefits Flight privileges Life Insurance Medical Insurance Employee and networking events Discounts Flight privileges, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Employee and networking events, Discounts Requirements Minimum 3+ years of experience in intralogistics (goods receiving, warehousing,shipping) Experience in aviation logistics is an advantage High school or Professional School certificate Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills Good computer skills (Office), SAP is an advantage Must have a valid B and forklift driver’s license Must be able to lift packages up to 30 kg Willingness to work shifts, holidays, and/or weekends as necessary IATA regulations training, dangerous goods courses, Export Control courses are an advantage Lean Basics or Intensive Training is an advantage Please send your application in English.Candidates must have the right to live/work in Portugal.Applications will be evaluated based solely on the candidates' merit, without consideration of any other factors.
