Job DescriptionThe PositionThe Associate Specialist will contribute to ensuring all StS processes and transactions comply with accounting standards, policies, SOX and statutory requirements. Will also provide input to the global process owner group for operational opportunities for process and control design, as well as vendor experience. The StS team will be organized regionally, so the Associate Specialist will be working within a regional scope. As well as having responsibility for successful delivery of StS operations for their region, the Associate Specialist will help to oversee service delivery from our BPO partner and will work collaboratively with Organon vendors & markets to have a full understanding of the business model & dynamics. ResponsibilitiesThe primary activities include but are not limited to the following:Deliver services in accordance with agreed Service Level, Controls and GovernanceHelp to manage process risk by adhering to policies and internal controls, comply with StS guidelines, ensuring process and SOX controls are executed in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure our control environment remains robustBring a process improvement focus, supporting implementation of best practices and a project management disciplineCollaborate with internal and external auditors to support successful audit results and compliance with US GAAP and company policiesSupport training, accuracy, and timely delivery of work outputsEngage and initiate with process Owners and other ESS FS Center colleagues to help identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through continuous improvementEnsure professional and detailed process and related internal control documentation exits such as global SOPs, Regional Work Instructions in coordination with the StS Global Process Owner & ICCProvide consultative support to our outsource partners in Genpact Dalian and ensure timely resolution of issuesResolve escalated queries in accordance with agreed SLAsCollaborate cross functionally within the company/vendors/employees to resolve process and/or technical issues across Athena and associated STS systems Support Internal Stakeholders:Participate in process changes and improvementsDeliver 'world-class service' experience for vendors, fellow employees, and stakeholders.Cross-functional collaborationPerform a variety of responsibilities within the Source to Settle (StS) tower as requested Required Education, Experience, and SkillsPreferred Education, Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance1-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company valuedExperience with Internal or External Audit valuedGood financial background with experience in accounting processes valuedExperience in SAP S4 Hana, Coupa, WHT and VAT valuedFluent in English with Portuguese/ Spanish a distinct advantage when supporting BPO and STS StakeholderDemonstrated ability to maintain financial controlsExperience with continuous process improvement projectsPay attention to details, produces accurate deliverables, and consistently meet deadlinesProactive style in implementing new processesPreferred experience with SAP S/4 HANA, and Ticket Management Software (ServiceNow)Experience working in shared service environmentGood communication skills for both written & verbal Secondary Job DescriptionWho We Are: Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
