This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company, reporting directly to the product team. As the ideal candidate, your goal is to be a versatile, high-energy , problem solving driven and based in Leiria. You will be involved in fast-paced day-to-day mobile and wearables development. Last but not least, you will be empowered and accountable for a wide range of initiatives, which will give you the opportunity to own your career path and shape the future of Glartek. Tasks Be passionate about the customer and be their voice inside the business Analyze customer insights, consumer trends and market dynamics Gather and analyze product feedback from all business functions Assess competitors’ offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation Ultimately discover a product that is valuable, usable, and feasible Define the product strategy and roadmap Translate product strategy into detailed requirements / user stories and prototypes Test and validate product ideas (the minimum viable product or rapid prototyping), before committing engineering resources Monitor the status of development projects, as well as participate in sprints and retrospectives Review and approve the development of new features and the proposed development releases Organize, create and read proof the product documentation Prepare the launch of new product version Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process Perform product demos to customers Collect, analyze, respond and act on customer feedback Attend events to represent the company and promote the company’s products Requirements Technology-savvy with curiosity for new technologies and the industrial / manufacturing fields Proven and effective collaboration skills Strong analytical, reasoning and organizational skills Excellent writing skills to easily communicate key messages Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills Attention to detail, creative thinker and fast problem solver Previous experience in design and copywriting is a plus BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management or related field preferred Fluent in English Available to travel: 5 to 10% of the time Benefits You will be working on a ground-breaking product, where you can use your creativity and knowledge to help solve challenging technical and social problems.
