Porto, Porto District, Portugal Golang Developer Job Description: Go, Golang DeveloperWe are looking for an experienced Developer to join our R&D team in Porto or Coruña.// we are looking for true grit, drive and ownership to nurture both the team and theproject :seedling:Who are we?vision and natural language processing will have a massive impact on the way we live, andwe want to make sure that we create a positive impact on the world with these services andtheir foundational platforms and interfaces.Data / Engineering / User-experience design / Strategy.The founders have been working together for years so there is a family feel to the company.We have a beautiful office right in the historical central canals of Amsterdam, and we are inthe process of establishing our Iberian bases in Porto and Galicia.Who are you?you are proficient in building API’s using GoLang, Go, Java, javascript, Python or Node.jsyou have a thorough understanding of containers and functions. Deployment experiencewith Kubernetes (K8s) or Functions is highly desirable.you have experience deploying production applications (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Heroku…)you know modern coding, testing, debugging and automation techniquesyou love to write clean structured codeyou enjoy learning about new technologiesyou know how to design efficient software architecture and implement ityou automate the mundane tasks so more time can be spent on the fun stuffyou like working in a team, sharing knowledge, mentoring the juniorsSome of the tasks you might be doing in this role:Work closely with other teams and individuals to plan, coordinate and seek feedbackSetup and improve CICD pipelineImplement monitoring, logging and alertingWork with the business to gather requirements and specificationsSqueeze every last drop of performance out of your backend and websites throughbenchmarking and optimisationUse infrastructure tools such as k8s, terraform, docker, helm charts...and some more points:Written and verbal English is the only core requirement.We Required Skills: Go - Golang Golang Go/Golang
