Senior Human Resources Business Partner – EMEAFull-Time for Fixed Term Contract (Beginning November 2025 to mid-July 2026)Porto-Lisbon-Coimbra ( MUST BE BASED IN PORTUGAL)Job SummaryThe current HRBP will soon be on parental leave, and we are seeking an experienced individual to step in for an interim, fixed term. This role will provide continuity and leadership, ensuring seamless HR service delivery and alignment with global business strategy. You will be: Working with US-based corporate leadership – aligning regional business activities with corporate priorities and serving as a bridge across EMEA and US operations.Collaborating with in-country leadership (Germany, Portugal, Spain, and UK) – building trust-based relationships and aligning leadership, functions, teams, and individuals to business priorities.Owning and driving, under the management of the VP-HR in the U.S.Payroll, Benefits & Compliance – Own payroll for Portugal; partner internally and externally for Germany and Spain payroll; administer benefits (Coverflex, AdvanceCare); manage external partners (KMED and others).HR Programs & Processes – Manage employee lifecycle programs (onboarding, offboarding, career pathing, learning and development via Udemy for Business, referral program, policies, payroll, compliance, reporting).Employee Experience & Events – Plan and lead engagement initiatives, coworking days, and HR-led events, ensuring cultural alignment and measurable outcomes.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HRBP in a multinational or technology/e-commerce environment.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of HR practices across multiple EMEA countries (i.e., Portugal, Spain, Germany, UK) with ability to navigate differing labor laws, payroll, and compliance requirements.Experience calculating and managing payroll and benefits in Portugal; exposure to EMEA-wide payroll/benefits vendors and platforms.Event planning and employee engagement program design experience.Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across geographies, time zones, and functions.Strong experience in employee relations and talent development.Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and comfort with reporting/analytics.Exceptional communication skills in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).Additional language expertise in Spanish preferred.Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and deliver results under a fixed-term contract.Ability to work a modified workday/workweek with appropriate overlap with leadership in U.S. time zone.The Interview Process1.
