Our team provides an array of comprehensive services catering specifically to our client’s unique and evolving circumstances which require creative and careful consideration, decision making, and guidance.LGG is looking at expanding its Digital Transformation team with an Senior AI Engineer which will be tasked to work with clients in the development of complex Agents and LLM based solutions for the financial services industry. Description: Join LGG Advisors' growing Digital Transformation team, with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London and Madrid. Help leverage large language models and state-of-the-art AI frameworks to develop scalable AI applications. Engage in complex, fast-paced environments with strong learning and development opportunities. ResponsibilitiesDevelop AI applications in Python utilizing large language models.Debug and enhance AI software components for optimal performance.Craft and refine prompts and workflows to improve LLM effectiveness.Construct and manage REST APIs with integrated AI features.Investigate and assess new AI technologies and tools.Engage in agile collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Keep abreast of AI advancements and apply novel methods.Support AI projects including chatbot development and process automation.Work independently with strong accountability for deliverables.Communicate clearly with stakeholders and team members. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Fluency in English at a proficient level (education or work experience in an English-speaking environment is a plus). Requirements:Minimum 5+ years in ML or Data engineering, with 1+ year building LLM systems in production experience developing and debugging Python applications with at least 3 years.Strong proficiency in prompt engineering and fine-tuning large language models.Comprehensive understanding of large language model architectures and applications.Skilled in using Pydantic for data validation and configuration management.Hands-on experience with AI frameworks like LangChain or equivalent.Knowledge of AI-driven engineering assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Gemini CLIFamiliarity with AWS cloud services and related infrastructure.Background in agile, project-oriented environments.Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.Differential: Familiarity with workflow automation tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
