Software Engineer – Test

Role description: We are looking for a talented engineer to develop and maintain software for our test and calibration systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, which ensure accurate testing and calibration of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience with test and measurement systems, and a passion for quality assurance and precision. Software system optimization: Design, develop, and implement software solutions for test and calibration systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Cross-functional integration of test systems: Partner with hardware, production, and engineering teams to define testing requirements and ensure seamless integration of test and calibration solutions. Performance-driven automation: Develop and deploy automated test scripts and tools that drive improvements in reliability, and calibration precision—leveraging modern development practices and technologies. On-site system support: Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for test and calibration systems on the production floor, ensuring minimal downtime and fostering real-time collaboration with operations teams. Data accuracy & system configuration: Maintain and update critical test-related software configurations and parameters in production systems, ensuring consistent data integrity and process stability. Technical documentation & standardization: Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation—including software design records, calibration procedures, and user manuals—to support consistent and scalable use of test systems. Your profile: Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or CET in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Work Experience: Initial professional experience in software development for test and measurement systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar; knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools. Language Skills: Good written and spoken Portuguese and English skills. Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
