Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wine Sales & Account Manager based in Porto, Portugal. The role is responsible for managing and growing our customer base in the North of Portugal, ensuring that restaurants, bars, hotels, and private clients receive exceptional service and a curated wine experience.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily sales, taking and processing customer orders, developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients. A central part of the role is learning and understanding our wine portfolio - ideally with an existing passion for wines or a willingness to develop deeper expertise.
The Wine Sales & Account Manager will regularly visit clients in their territory to ensure excellent customer experience, understand upcoming needs, and identify new opportunities. The role may also include leading or supporting wine events in the North, and representing Terroir at major industry fairs such as Simplesmente Vinho, Essência do Vinho, Enóphilo Wine Market, Identidade, and Portfolio Tastings.
Although based in Porto, the position requires occasional visits to our Lisbon office located near Jardim da Estrela for team meetings, trainings, and company events.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales management, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and team management
- Knowledge of market trends and ability to prepare sales reports
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Experience in the wine industry
