Location: Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Remote (short duration project)
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a self-driven Data Engineer to join an interesting multi-project environment focusing on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, integrations, and analytical data structures. The role involves working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, modern cloud data platforms like Snowflake, and reporting tools such as Qlik, with a strong focus on reliable, scalable, and well-structured data solutions that support business insights and operational excellence.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations across multiple systems;
- Develop, optimize, and maintain database structures, ensuring high data quality, performance, and availability;
- Work with business stakeholders and analysts to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions;
- Support and evolve our data warehouse and reporting environments, particularly in Snowflake and Qlik;
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across systems and projects;
- Contribute to improving existing data flows, storage strategies, and analytical frameworks;
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, software developers, and other IT professionals in an agile environment;
