Service Engineer Turbochargers

We are looking for a
Service Engineer Turbochargers
for our PrimeServ Marine & Power team at Everllence Iberia in Portugal.

Based in Setúbal, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical service and support to our customers, both in the workshop and in the field. You will contribute directly to customer satisfaction, equipment reliability, and service quality in Portugal, Spain and internationally.

We Can Offer You The Following Tasks

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting and major overhauls of turbochargers and related equipment, both in workshop and onboard vessels or power plants
• Disassemble, clean, measure, assess and reassemble turbocharger components ensuring correct tolerances and functionality
• Conduct rotor balancing and support vibration analysis to guarantee optimal performance
• Identify technical issues, determine root causes and recommend spare parts or repair actions
• Prepare technical service documentation and reports according to PrimeServ standards
• Support job planning: tools, parts, technical drawings and safety requirements before mobilization
• Provide technical guidance to customers onboard, ensuring a strong service experience
• Execute all work in compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
• Collaborate with the global PrimeServ network, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Represent Everllence professionally as a key ambassador of our marine & power service business

*You can help us with the following qualifications:*

• Technical education in mechanical, marine or industrial engineering
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Turbochargers (ABB and/or MET experience required – workshop and/or field service background)
• Ability to independently perform service tasks and lead small teams when required
• Availability to travel frequently for field assignments up to 75% (national and international)
• Strong English and Portuguese communication skills
• Valid driving license
