Junior DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Analyst

We are looking for
Junior DLP Analysts
to join an
international cybersecurity team
within the
banking sector
, based in
Porto
.

This role is part of a
global initiative
to strengthen
data protection, compliance, and information security
across the organization.

As a
DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Analyst
, you will play a key role in
detecting, investigating, and preventing data leaks
, contributing directly to the protection of sensitive information and digital assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess security events generated by DLP tools (Level 1 alert handling)
  • Perform deeper investigations (Level 2) to confirm and assess potential data leaks
  • Review and fine-tune DLP rules to reduce false positives and improve accuracy
  • Collaborate with control managers and security stakeholders on incident response
  • Suggest best practices based on alert typologies to enhance detection performance
  • Produce weekly and monthly DLP dashboards and compliance reports
  • Support the onboarding of new entities into the DLP platform

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • Up to
    2 years of experience
    in cybersecurity, IT risk, compliance, or data analysis
  • Understanding of
    data protection principles
    and
    information security fundamentals
  • Analytical mindset with
    attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English (C1+)
    and
    French (B2 or higher)
