About The Job

• The Fixing & MTN Analyst mission is to work in the fixed income derivatives environment, dealing with fixed income OTC (Over the counter) swap on a daily basis, and with equity derivatives medium term notes emission to ensure market data integrity within the systems from the business to settlement whenever a fixing event occurs, in order for client to be paid in due time and properly notified of all events occurring regarding their swap transaction with BNP Paribas

Your Main Activities Are

• Monitor daily fixing of OTC rates derivatives for capital market operations
• Control the daily update of market rates on behalf of Front Officers using official rates published by Reuters, Bloomberg and Central banks
• Participate to the creation of new rates in collaboration with Front Officers and IT teams
• Create excel spreadsheets for the calculation of exotic rates (inflation, power dual, ratchet, range accrual…)
• Solve interest discrepancies before payment date and participate to the investigation of payment incidents
• Monitor and reprocess fixing advices when necessary

Profile And Skills To Success

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management
• Up to 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency in Financial Software Murex
• Knowledge of Middle Office Operations and Interest Rates
• Critical thinking, attention to detail and ability to collaborate
