We are looking for an Amazing: Senior Java Developer

Seniority: Senior (5+ years)

Type of position: Hybrid from Oporto. Candidates must be in Portugal already

The amazing you, will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Fluency in English
• CPLP nationality or EU work permit required
• Based in Porto

• Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Fluency in French – valued.
