Join our team as a Cloud Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)

What You'll Do:

• Understand key business processes (ERPs, CRMs, BI/AI) to support a
  unified data model
  and prioritize data standardization efforts based on functional requirements (Level 4 Functional Data Architecture).
• Identify and define data structure needs (aggregation, normalization, quality management) to enable robust self-service analytics and data consumption.
• Define
  MDM's role
  across domains, guide teams on implementing data quality controls, and validate datasets against organizational standards and governance policies (Level 3 Data Governance).
• Create core architectural deliverables, including
  Enterprise, Conceptual, and Logical Data Models
  , detailed business processes (BPMN 2.0 with ), and maintain comprehensive metadata and data catalog entries (e.g., in Collibra).
• Design, build, and continuously improve
  secure multi-subscription/multi-tenant landing zones
  in Azure and OCI, aligning them with the five pillars of the Well-Architected Framework.
• Translate industry standards (Azure Security Benchmark, CIS Foundations Benchmark v2.0, NIST SP into practical, automated
  policy as code
  (Azure Policy, OCI Guardrails, Terraform Sentinel).
• Develop and maintain secure
  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  modules (Bicep/Terraform) and integrate static/dynamic security scans (tfsec, Trivy) and container image signing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Drive secure container-security reference architectures (AKS, OKE) that satisfy NIST SP and NSA/CISA hardening guidance.
• Configure and manage security tools (Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, OCI Cloud Guard) to detect, triage, and respond to threats, and establish
  KPIs/KRIs
  for cloud posture and compliance drift.
• Conduct threat-model workshops, provide training on secure coding, and champion a
  "paved-road" DevSecOps
  culture across engineering teams

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in infrastructure or security engineering, with a minimum of
  5 years focused on public cloud (Azure and/or OCI)
  .
• Hands-on experience improving the
  Security Score in Microsoft Defender
  through configuration of Microsoft Security tools (Defender for Cloud CSPM/CWPP, Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft DLP, etc.).
• Proven design and delivery of secure landing zones at scale, including micro-segmentation, identity, logging, and data classification/encryption strategy.
• Mastery with
  Terraform/Bicep
  and proficiency in scripting/coding (PowerShell, Python, Go) for automation and custom control development.
• Deep knowledge of Functional Data Architecture, including experience with technologies like
  Snowflake Data Cloud
  (Level 2) and Data Catalog solutions (e.g., Collibra).
• Expertise in Kubernetes security (RBAC, network policies, PodSecurity standards) and container registry hardening and image signing (Cosign/Notary v2).
• Deep knowledge of
  Azure Well-Architected Framework
  , Azure Security Benchmark/Baseline, and
  CIS Foundations Benchmark v2.0
  (Azure & OCI).
• Familiarity with NIST SP , NIST CSF/800-53, MITRE ATT&CK cloud tactics, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 requirements.
• Excellent communication (Level 3 English), business analysis (Level 3), and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, data scientists, business experts, and technical architects.

Certifications & Desirable Experience

• Certifications such as
  AZ-305/AZ-500, OCI Architect Professional, CCSP, or CISSP-ISSAP
  (or equivalent demonstrable expertise) are required.
• Preferably, direct experience with
  Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  .
