1.FUNCTIONAL CONTENT

As a
Marketing & Sales Manager for
Highly Specialized & Oncology at ESTEVE Portugal, you will be responsible for leading both the strategic and operational commercial activities for the Highly Specialized portfolio. Working cross-functionally with medical, market access, and regulatory colleagues, your role is key in maximizing the portfolio's impact across the product lifecycle. You will help shape brand strategy, ensure promotional excellence, and contribute to initiatives that improve patient access and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Leadership:

  • Lead the development and implementation of local brand strategies across the Highly Specialized portfolio, aligning with regional/global direction while tailoring to the Portuguese healthcare landscape.
  • Oversee the adaptation and execution of promotional campaigns, educational initiatives, and digital tools.
  • Drive performance management through KPIs, forecasting, market analysis, and competitive intelligence.

In-Field Execution & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary field-facing representative for Highly Specialized, engaging directly with healthcare professionals, hospital teams, and key opinion leaders.
  • Promote ESTEVE's products in full compliance with Portuguese promotional regulations and ethical standards.
  • Organise scientific meetings, participate in congresses, and build strong relationships with national experts, clinical stakeholders, and patient advocacy groups.

Access & Ecosystem Shaping:

  • Collaborate with Medical to support local access initiatives and remove barriers to treatment.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise the patient journey and support diagnosis and treatment.
  • Monitor hospital protocols, decision-making structures, and funding flows to identify and act on key levers.
  • Unlock access constraints and drives uptake in critical accounts

Cross-Functional & External Collaboration:

  • Represent the Portuguese affiliate in global brand discussions, contributing with local insights and execution updates.
  • Act as a strategic connector between internal teams (Medical, Regulatory, Compliance, Access) and the field reality.
  • Ensure timely reporting of pharmacovigilance, product complaints, and healthcare professional feedback.

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage territory coverage, stakeholder mapping, CRM tracking, and promotional budget with autonomy and discipline.
  • Provide regular reports to the Country Lead, including business performance, field intelligence, and actionable recommendations.

2.JOB PROFILE

  • University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
    in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with
    at least 3–5 years
    in Oncology and or Highly Specialized or areas in Speciality Markets where ESTEVE is growing
  • Proven ability to lead brand strategy and execution independently in a dynamic, matrix environment.
  • On hands knowledge of Market Access and ecosystem shaping
  • Deep understanding of the Portuguese healthcare and hospital ecosystem, with strong stakeholder networks
  • Excellent communication,
    analytical,
    and organisational skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong compliance mindset and ethical integrity
