In this role, you will be responsible for managing our infrastructure, streamlining development processes, and providing crucial support to ensure smooth operations across our nearshore development projects.Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processesManage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPImplement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and KubernetesDevelop and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and AnsibleWrite and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiencySet up and manage monitoring and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and quick issue resolutionCollaborate with development teams to improve code quality and deployment processesProvide technical support and troubleshooting for production issuesImplement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructureStay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies, recommending improvements to our processesWork effectively within a nearshore development model, addressing unique challenges and opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar roleStrong knowledge of DevOps practices and principlesProficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their associated servicesExperience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker and KubernetesExpertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AnsibleStrong scripting skills in languages like Python and BashFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologiesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalExperience working in or with nearshore development teamsRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plusAuthorization to work in Portugal or the European UnionWillingness to occasionally work flexible hours to accommodate different time zonesAdditional InformationThe Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
