About the role: They are looking for an Engineering Manager to bring structure, execution, and leadership to a team working under a demanding product roadmap. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people management, delivery, recruiting, and team performance (not daily coding).
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the engineering team on day-to-day execution.Coach and develop the team.Identify performance gaps, support growth, and raise engineering standards.Improve team efficiency and speed of execution.Support roadmap delivery, ensuring alignment, organisation, and accountability.Guide technical decisions with strong fundamentals (architecture, best practices, engineering excellence).Act as a Product Owner when needed to keep priorities and deadlines on track.Participate in the recruitment and team growth.
Requirements:
Proven experience leading engineering teams and scaling their capacities.Strong people management and communication skills.Solid engineering foundation (computer systems, architecture, best practices).Technical leadership.Ability to make good technical decisions.Python development background is a plus, but flexibility across stacks is valued.
