We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring efficient and compliant payroll operations across our global team.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Oversee and execute payroll processing for employees in Portugal and across international markets, including France, Italy, and others, in collaboration with external partners; 

  • Manage expenses through platforms such as Factorial and Coverflex, ensuring accurate and timely processing; 

  • Develop and implement payroll policies and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across all regions; 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure fiscal compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations;

  • Monitor and ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, deductions, and benefits; 

  • Act as the point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing excellent communication and support to employees and stakeholders; 

  • Support financial planning and reporting related to payroll operations.


What you'll bring to the table: 

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes; 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; 

  • Experience working with platforms like Factorial and Coverflex for expense management;

  • Knowledge of fiscal regulations and compliance requirements across different countries, particularly in Portugal, France, and Italy; 

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail; 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

It would be great if you would also have:

  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced work environment; 

  • Familiarity with payroll management in other European countries; 

  • Knowledge of automation tools for payroll processes.
