Your Role:

  • Food Preparation:
     Washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients to ensure smooth workflow during cooking.
  • Cooking and Assembly:
     Cooking dishes to specifications, ensuring consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene:
     Following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Management:
     Monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages, and assisting with inventory rotation.
  • Team Collaboration:
     Working efficiently with other kitchen staff, including sous chefs, prep cooks, and kitchen assistants, to meet production deadlines.
  • Quality Control:
     Ensuring each dish meets quality standards before it is served, making adjustments as needed.
  • Equipment Use:
     Operating kitchen equipment safely and properly, performing basic maintenance and cleaning as required.
