What You Will Do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will help digitally transform Amgen's Procure to Pay capabilities via implementation of SAP S/4HANA. As an SAP functional analyst within our global Digital, Technology, and Innovation (DTI) team, this role will help guide the transition from our worldwide ERP instance on SAP ECC to the S/4HANA Intelligent Enterprise. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and configure the SAP S/4HANA core and Ariba to meet business requirements and to implement critical procure to pay (P2P) capabilities
• Build system according to approved solution architecture; provide oversight for external business partners
• Ensures solutions developed are aligned to enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles by leverage common technology platforms and services
• Collaborate with business partners, Product Owners, Developers & Business Analysts to co-create business value through identification of transformational opportunities
• Work independently, function as a knowledge resource for less experienced team members
• Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading control practices

What We Expect Of You
Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience in configuring and integrating all aspects of SAP S/4 P2P solution for global deployments; focus on supplier management, purchase requisition to order, and invoice to settle via Ariba and Materials Management in the S/4 core
• Experience in configuring Cloud Integration gateway (CIG), SAP Business Network, connected to SAP Enterprise Central Component (ECC) and/or S/4HANA
• Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that comply with defined architectural principles and standards
• Collaborate with integrated agile product teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules and external systems

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SAP Invoice Management, Apex, and Sirion Labs
• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Professional Certifications:

• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and/or Procurement (preferred)
• Relevant SAP Ariba Procure to Pay (preferred)
• Certified Scrum Developer or Product Owner (Preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
• Experience partnering with business leaders & Product Owners to drive strategic decisions
• Experience working Cross functionally with ERP and Non-ERP Product teams

Basic Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree and 1 year of relevant SAP experience OR
• Master's degree with 4 - 6 years of relevant SAP experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 6 - 8 years of relevant SAP experience OR
• Diploma with years of relevant SAP experience
