Location: Diversey Portugal
Contract: 12-month fixed term (potential for temp-to-perm)
Salary: €1,425 gross per month

About the Role

Diversey Portugal is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Key Account Assistant to support our Key Account Management team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in communication, is comfortable working with data and Excel, and enjoys building strong relationships with clients. You will support up to 10 key accounts, ensuring high levels of service and contributing to the overall performance of the sales function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support up to 10 key customer accounts, maintaining strong and professional relationships.
  • Handle daily phone calls, customer inquiries, and follow-ups to ensure excellent client service.
  • Respond to client emails promptly, providing accurate information and solutions.
  • Prepare and update sales reports, performance dashboards, and customer documentation.
  • Perform profitability analysis, including margins, pricing deviations, and cost-to-serve insights.
  • Work extensively with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) to prepare reports and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (sales, finance, logistics, customer service) to resolve issues and support account needs.
  • Assist Key Account Managers in preparing presentations, tenders, and business reviews.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in CRM and other internal systems.
  • Support any additional administrative tasks to ensure smooth account operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in account support, sales administration, or customer service (B2B experience beneficial).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data handling).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and profitability data.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English as business language
