DECSKILL operates in 3 main areas:

  • DECSKILL TALENT, through which we provide our clients with an extension to their IT teams;

  • DECSKILL BOOST, through which we provide our client with software development models to increase capacity and optimize Time-to-Market, where we create and manage teams that deliver according to their needs, at the desired speed;

  • DECSKILL CONNECT through which we provide our client with consulting services, as well as the implementation and management of information technology infrastructures.

Our practice results in the creation of value for our customers, either by delivering qualified and value-added services, or through highly qualified and motivated professionals, as well as technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers.

We are looking for an
Lead SRE

Responsibilities
:

  • Train SREs and their managers on SRE practices.
  • Coach and support: transmit an SRE mindset based on Agile and DevOps approaches, be on the field on a daily basis with the SRE (1 to 1 meetings) to identify areas for improvement on the IT production of the application, support the SRE on the implementation of solutions so that the SRE increases its skills, evaluate the increase of the practice's maturity.
  • Participate in the recruitment of SREs and their evaluation: administer recruitment tests, give feedback to the hiring manager.
  • Co-construct the transformation strategy and the support plan by participating in workshops, brainstorming with the transformation team and producing training content.

Requirements
:

  • SRE IT production processes experience.
  • Agile / DevOps Mindset Problem Solving.
  • Scripting experience.: Python, YML, Shell.
  • Monitoring experience: Dynatrace, Nagios.
  • Linux experience.
  • Admin Network (DNS, Firewall, Switch) experience.
  • DevOps stack: Git & Git Flow, Artifactory, Jenkins or Gitlab CI, Ansible Tower, Digital ai Release.
  • Cloud experience: Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD, ArgoCD, Vault, Helm.
  • End-to-end IT organization and processes (from development to run / operate).
  • Technical Architecture.
  • Problem Solving and critical thinking.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Team work and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges.
