About the Position:

To support and respond to our needs, we are now looking for an IT Project Manager to join a dynamic team in the Porto area, under a hybrid arrangement.

This position demands strong leadership, coordination, and delivery capabilities in a complex environment involving multiple vendors and locations. The professional will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with the client's methodologies and governance frameworks.

They will also be expected to safeguard the project scope, preventing scope expansion that could impact deadlines. Proactively assessing team capacity and identifying risks at an early stage is essential. The role includes documenting and escalating risks, highlighting resource limitations, and providing consistent status updates to the governance team and programme leadership.

What we are looking for?

  • A degree in a relevant field is required;
  • Project Management–focused certifications are an advantage;
  • Finance and accounting knowledge is highly beneficial, even for an IT Project Manager role;
  • Solid understanding of methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile;
  • Familiarity with project governance frameworks (status reporting, change control, risk management) is expected;
  • Experience with D365 F&O, treasury management systems, and bank connectivity/SWIFT is a plus;
  • Good level of English is required.
