What will be your role:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying intelligent backend systems, incorporating state-of-the-art AI features to enhance the way businesses communicate. You'll be working on a project for one of our international clients in the
customer communications and intelligence
sector — a fast-moving environment where voice, digital channels, and automation converge to create seamless customer experiences.

Experience with building AI-driven systems is a must. You will be expected to mentor your team, apply best practices, and lead initiatives that ensure quality and innovation in your daily work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in requirements analysis to design backend and AI-powered solutions aligned with product and business goals.

• Designing and implementing robust backend systems, including both frontend and backend development in Python, that deliver real-time intelligent features.

• Developing scalable APIs and microservices that integrate AI capabilities into enterprise communication platforms.

• Utilizing AWS, including Bedrock as an AI provider, for cloud-based infrastructure and services.

• Building and managing retrieval pipelines (e.g., RAG) to enrich model context and enhance response accuracy.

• Ensuring system observability for metrics injection and error tracking.

• Working with containerization technologies like Docker and ensuring smooth CI/CD with GitLab for continuous integration and deployment.

• Collaborating with MLOps, DevOps, and data engineering teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in backend engineering, AI integration, and cloud-based solutions.

What you should bring to the team:

• At least 3+ years of experience in backend software development, preferably with Python (including the ability to work with both frontend and backend).

• Expertise in developing scalable APIs and microservices, integrating AI features into production systems.

• Proficiency in Python, with strong experience in API development, AI/data integration, and backend development.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and understanding of AI providers like Bedrock.

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain for building AI applications and working with large language models (LLMs).

• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis for caching, and containerization using Docker.

• Expertise in managing dependencies using Poetry and version control with GitLab.

• Comfort with CI/CD pipelines and a strong focus on system observability.

• Proven ability to deliver production-ready, business-impacting systems.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, focused on teamwork and fostering innovation.
