Let's start with the role

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Enterprise Risk Officer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will help shape the organisation's risk management framework, ensuring alignment with both operational and strategic goals. You will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various domains. Working closely with senior leadership, you will proactively address potential threats and ensure that risk mitigation strategies are integrated into the organisation's decision-making processes.

As an Enterprise Risk Officer, you will:
  • Assist the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager in maintaining and updating the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including its policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments: 
    • Responsible for identifying and analysing different entity-wide and business risks.
    • Evaluate the controls to ensure they mitigate the identified risks.
    • Recommend risk mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders.
    • Continuously monitor and update the organisation's risk registers.
  • Prepare risk reports for senior leadership and relevant stakeholders, delivering actionable insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support the delivery of risk management training to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Risk function complies with applicable regulations in which the business operates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Enterprise Risk Manager. 

What you'll bring:

Essential skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
  • Experience working in regulated industries.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to listen actively and independently when required.
  • Good command of the English and Portuguese, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical conduct in line with corporate values. 
Nice to have:
  • Professional certifications in Risk Management (such as PMI-RMP, CRISC, CRMA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with GRC management software.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 31000 standard. 
  • Work experience in the iGaming sector.
