1. Company Description

Movendis Group is a fast-growing international manufacturer and supplier of high-performance power-transmission solutions, serving industry leaders across Europe, North America, and Asia. With a strong focus on quality, reliability, and technical excellence, we specialize in rubber and PU transmission belts (industrial, agricultural, automotive aftermarket, and powersports), supported by solid engineering, robust supply-chain capabilities, and a global distribution footprint.

As we expand our presence in South America, we are seeking a highly autonomous yet fully integrated 
Sales Manager Mercosur (excluding Brazil)
 to develop and manage our customer base and distribution network across the region.

2. Role Description

The Sales Manager Mercosur will be responsible for driving commercial development across all key markets in South America—primarily Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Colombia, with potential expansion into other major countries in Latin and Central America.

Working closely with the Group's senior leadership in Europe, the successful candidate will manage existing accounts, build long-term partnerships, and lead proactive prospection efforts across the following sectors:

  • Industrial distribution & OEMs
  • Automotive aftermarket
  • Agriculture & agribusiness suppliers
  • Scooter / motorcycle / powersports channels

This role includes:

  • Managing and developing our distributor network and key OEM accounts
  • Leading structured prospection activities across the entire region
  • Building a strong sales pipeline aligned with Movendis Group strategy
  • Conducting technical/commercial presentations to customers
  • Negotiating annual agreements, pricing, and commercial terms
  • Monitoring competition, market trends, and opportunities
  • Providing regular reporting to the executive team in Europe
  • Representing Movendis Group with professionalism, reliability, and strong technical credibility

The Sales Manager will operate with 
significant autonomy
, while being deeply integrated into the Group's processes, culture, and commercial strategy.

3. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
     in technical sales, ideally within mechanical power transmission (belts, chains, couplings) or other industrial/technical components
  • Proven experience managing distributor networks and large OEM accounts
  • Strong prospection skills and ability to open new markets across multiple countries
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles in industrial, automotive, agricultural, or mechanical sectors
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and structure commercial development plans
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
     (Portuguese is an asset but not required)
  • Based ideally in 
    Buenos Aires (Argentina)
     or nearby regions
  • Willingness to travel across South America as needed
  • Open to independent contractors / self-employed professionals
