Purpose
The Assistant Contract Manager provides support to Senior or Project Contract Managers for a specific discipline or area of the contract management department. Responsibilities
You provide support in the management of Main Contract & Supply Chain contracts.You ensure up-to-date, cross-referenced registers and logs are maintained on the project.You provide prompting to Contracts personnel for outstanding replies.You provide support to the supply chain to ensure contract coherence.You update and maintain the Contracts requirements plan.You ensure coherent data and document availability, e.g. contractually defined codes and standards.You participate in project meetings with Engineering, Project Controls, and the Supply Chain.You support in drafting formal Project correspondence, depending on the subject, and draft correspondence when needed. Education
Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines (Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying). Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in contract management. Functional Competencies
Contract Administration and Contractual Compliance Contractual change identification and management SBM Product Knowledge Contract law and model contract knowledge Pre-contract management Contract Management Contract set-up and Contract awareness
