We are a greentech startup on a mission to make sustainability accessible to everyone. Having recently closed a VC financing round with top-tier investors in Portugal, we are scaling our product capabilities and growing our engineering squad.

We are looking for a senior, product-minded engineer who wants to be hands-on with the code while helping us structure our architecture and mentor our growing team. If you are an experienced builder who cares about code quality, architecture, and sustainability, we want to meet you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Architect & Build:
    You will own the delivery of major features and core product architecture using , , and Shopify. You are the standard-bearer for code quality.
  • Mentor & Scale:
    You will act as the technical anchor for our engineering team (currently 3-4 people). You will review PRs, guide junior developers, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
  • Shape the Stack:
    You will drive decisions on tooling, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines to ensure our platform is robust and scalable.
  • Bridge the Gap:
    Collaborate intimately with the founders and product team to translate business requirements into technical reality.

This role is for you if:

  • A Builder First:
    You have 5+ years of experience shipping code to production. You love the craft of coding and aren't ready to step away from the IDE.
  • A Technical Lead:
    You have experience guiding other developers, making architectural trade-offs, and setting best practices, even if you haven't held a formal "manager" title.
  • The Stack:
    Strong proficiency in TypeScript, , and SQL is required. Experience with Shopify or e-commerce flows is a massive plus.
  • Mission-Driven:
    You want your code to count for something real—specifically, helping the planet.
  • Adaptable:
    You thrive in the ambiguity of a startup environment where you wear multiple hats.
