We are looking for an
Cloud Network Engineer

Responsabilities:

Network Architecture & Design

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures across Azure and multi-cloud environments, including hybrid connectivity solutions.

Azure Networking Expertise

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure networking services including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, AzureFirewall, and Private Endpoints.

Cloud Interconnectivity

  • Design and implement secure connectivity solutions between on-premises, Azure, and GCP environments using VPN, ExpressRoute, Cloud Interconnect, and other hybridnetworking technologies.

Network Optimization

  • Analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve latency, throughput, and overall network efficiency.

Network Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

  • Perform advanced network diagnostics using Azure Network Watcher, traffic analytics, and other monitoring tools to quickly identify and resolve connectivityissues.

Security Implementation

  • Implement network security best practices including micro-segmentation, zero-trust networking principles, and secure network access controls.

Multi-Cloud Networking

  • Design and manage network connectivity and routing between Azure and GCP, ensuring optimal performance and security across cloud platforms.

Kubernetes Networking

  • Design and implement container networking solutions for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other Kubernetes platforms, including CNI configuration, service meshimplementation, and ingress controllers.

Documentation & Standards

  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation, topology diagrams, and establish networking standards and best practices.

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

  • Develop and maintain network infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, and other IaC tools to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with security, platform, and application teams to ensure network solutions align with business requirements and security policies.

Incident Response

  • Participate in incident response activities related to network connectivity and performance issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.

Monitoring & Alerting

  • Implement and maintain network monitoring solutions, configure alerting for network performance and availability metrics.

Requirements
:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking.
  • Proven experience with Azure networking services and architecture patterns.
  • Experience with network diagnostics, performance optimization, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer (if GCP experience available)
    Plus.
  • Cisco CCNP or equivalent networking certification
    Plus.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    Plus.
  • Deep expertise in Azure networking services (VNet, NSG, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Private Link/Endpoints)
    Plus.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, and network security principles
    Plus.
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Azure Network Watcher, Wireshark, tcpdump)
    Plus.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
    Plus.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for network automation
    Plus.
  • Experience with hybrid connectivity solutions and on-premises network integration
    Plus.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and zero-trust networking concepts
    Plus.
  • Experience with Kubernetes networking, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) networking, CNI plugins, and container network troubleshooting
    Plus.
  • Experience with GCP networking services (VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud CDN, Cloud Interconnect)
    Plus.
  • Familiarity with network automation tools and orchestration platforms
    Plus.
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies and network virtualization
    Plus.
  • Advanced Kubernetes networking knowledge including service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd), ingress controllers, and network policies
    Plus.
  • Experience with network performance testing and optimization tools
    Plus.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, DORA) as they relate to network security
    Plus.
  • Experience with multi-cloud networking patterns and best practices
    Plus.
  • Familiarity with CDN technologies and global load balancing strategies
    Plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex network concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative approach with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong documentation skills and commitment to knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to work under pressure during network incidents and outages.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay current with evolving cloud networking technologies.
  • Good level of english.
