Your Role & Responsibility

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Atlassian products, including upgrades, backups, security configurations, compliance policies, and any apps/plugins.
  • Managing user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to specific data and functions.
  • Ensuring compliance and guidelines across all instances and products in the Atlassian suite.
  • Creating and maintaining workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and automation rules to support business processes.
  • Assisting users in utilizing Atlassian tools and conducting training to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Connecting Atlassian tools to other systems or services, for example, through APIs or plugins.
  • Monitoring and enforcing security policies to ensure regulatory compl21qiance.

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

  • Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket Administration: Extensive experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of these tools, including plugin/app management for extending functionality.
  • Proficiency in customizing Jira workflows, screens, fields, and automations to support complex business processes.
  • Proficiency in integrating Atlassian tools with external systems (e.g., CI/CD tools, Slack) via REST APIs and plugins.
  • Experience in managing large instances, including performance tuning and scaling for stability and efficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of security practices, user role management, data protection, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR) within Atlassian tools.
  • Atlassian certifications, such as Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or Confluence Administrator, to validate advanced expertise.
  • Database and Linux Knowledge: Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and Linux for server management and troubleshooting.
