About the Role

We're looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to design, build, and optimize the systems that power our products. You'll work with modern technologies, solve high-impact challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that drive our business forward.

What You Will Do or Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing solutions with a high level of autonomy, by following development processes (like TDD, BDD, code reviews...);
• Support the development of more Junior developers.
• Optimizing the performance of the platform component you'll work on;
• Produce and test code in short cycles, with a high degree of automation;
• Gather feedback from end-users and adapt your solutions;
• Focus on developing maintainable solutions that scale to thousands of users;
• Knowledge of product development best practices, continuous delivery, and testing;
  Experience in designing and communicating high-level functional designs and solutions.

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science , or similar. If you do not have one but you are really good (and can show it), we still want to hear from you;
• 3 - 8 years of software development experience;
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms , data structures , and Object-Oriented Design ;
• Excellent coding skills in one or more of these technologies is a plus: C#, Java, Python ;
• AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices Development experience (valued);
• Relational Database experience: SQLServer, Oracle (valued)
• Continuous delivery and testing techniques (valued);
• Good communication skills and fluency in English ;
• Passion to analyze and design elegant solutions for high-tech problems;
• Great troubleshooting skills;
• A strong drive to innovate by bringing modern development best practices into the team while exploring upcoming technologies and frameworks.
