Celesta, part of La Royale Group, is a fast-growing iGaming development company dedicated to building next-generation online sports betting and casino experiences. Based in Lisbon, our multidisciplinary team is committed to quality, innovation, and regulatory excellence, creating solutions that engage players and stand out in the highly competitive i-gaming regulated market. 

We are now seeking a Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will spearhead the development of our sportsbook web applications, delivering intuitive and seamless cross-platform experiences. From live betting interfaces to personalized dashboards, you will guide a team that ensures every feature is fast, reliable, and user-friendly. 

This position reports directly to the Frontend Team Leader and works closely with designers, backend, QA, and product teams.

Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Collaborating with other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
  • Developing ideas for new products and features by monitoring industry trends and developments
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Write clean code to develop functional web applications
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Liaise with developers, designers, system administrators, project managers and CTO to identify new features

Qualifications/Qualities 

  • At least 2 years of commercial experience
  • 2 years of experience with React
  • Typescript
  • Experience with Docker
  • Other: Git, Scrutinizer, Jenkins, Scrum
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work under tight deadlines
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to use initiative and take ownership of tasks
