The role
Holds the technical solution responsibility and oversight, delivering the reusable technical components (high level design, low level design) and making sure the solution fits the scope.
Be a Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the strategic focus areas of Integration, Security, Infrastructure or Cloud computing and have the ability to speak across the remaining areas.
Consistently evaluate Cloud, to shape design of services in consideration of cost, portability, compatibility, or usability factors.
You will leverage and influence technical strategy and direction for enterprise platforms with supporting Core functions teams.
You will act as a mentor and provide guiding influence on others.
Project implementation approach for customer and external supplier activities and deliverables.
Drive decisions and deliverables across teams.
What you'll bring
10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Industrial IoT and embedded systems.
Proficiency in architecting, designing & developing distributed, real-time applications using tools & technologies like Kafka, Containers, Kubernetes, API gateway etc.
Experience with edge computing platforms and cloud-based IoT services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub) is desirable.
Strong understanding of Microservices based software design principles and best practices.
Ability to develop unit test driven software components.
Experience with Configuration Management tools (Version control, bug tracking, change management, automated builds, and coding standards).
Experience with, or exposure to, data analytics, predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
