Azure Reliability Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and maintain highly available infrastructures in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on resilience, scalability, and security;
- Ensure continuous observability and monitoring of systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and proactive alerting;
- Automate operational tasks and deployment/configuration processes using Azure DevOps, Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep;
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve service reliability, optimize costs, and prevent failures;
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and the definition of SLOs/SLIs (Service Level Objectives/Indicators);
- Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps best practices aligned with automation, observability, and continuous improvement principles;
- Ensure compliance with security, backup, disaster recovery, and governance policies.
- Degree in Information Technology or a related field;
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Monitoring, Automation);
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep);
- Experience in monitoring and ensuring reliability of cloud-native systems (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights);
- Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS);
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash);
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for complex incidents in high-availability environments;
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, AZ-500) are a plus;
- Experience with SRE practices, SLI/SLOs, chaos engineering, or performance tuning (valued);
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack (valued);
- Experience in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) (valued);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong analytical ability, autonomy, and proactivity in problem-solving;
- Team-oriented mindset and collaborative attitude.
