Job Title: Finance & Accounting Associate (French-speaking)

About the Role

We are seeking a French-speaking Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team in Porto. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have experience in Accounts Receivable or Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations and are looking to grow within a dynamic and international environment. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Receivable / Order-to-Cash (O2C) activities

  • Process customer invoices, payments, and reconciliations

  • Handle account inquiries and resolve discrepancies

  • Monitor overdue accounts and support collections processes

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

  • Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate transaction records

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support end-to-end finance processes

  • Provide high-quality customer service to clients and partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields

  • Fluency in French (C2) and advanced English (C1)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable / O2C / Finance operations

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables preferred)

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) is a plus

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong customer-service mindset

Nice to Have:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / O2C / Finance operations
