Let's fuse creativity with technology together and build innovative solutions that actively change things for the better.We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Distributed Cloud unit as a high-impact "Technical Hunter." This is a strategic overlay role focused exclusively on our top 3 to 4 Strategic Accounts.You will act as the bridge between commercial strategy and technical vision. Your mission is to "unblock" C-Level decision-makers, define 3-year transformation roadmaps, and drive large-scale Professional Services & Licensing deals. You will work in a "Triad" model alongside a Commercial Sales Specialist (who manages the contract/transaction) and a Sales Engineer (who manages the detailed delivery plan with Delivery Teams), freeing you to focus on the "Art of the Possible" and the "Why."This role is ideal for a former Customer Engineer (Google) or Technical Specialist (Microsoft) who wants to move closer to the business, carry a quota, and drive high-value strategy without getting bogged down in administrative sales tasks or low-level implementation.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Account "Hunter" (Overlay)Partner with the Sales Specialist on a named list of Top Tier accounts to originate and shape large-scale opportunities.Leverage your deep platform expertise (Azure / GCP / AWS) to gain credibility with Client CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Enterprise Architects.Move the conversation from "rate cards" to "business value," positioning Devoteam as the strategic partner for their Digital Transformation.Technical Vision & Roadmap DesignLead "Visioning Workshops" and Strategy Sessions to define the client's 3-year cloud journey (e.g., "From On-Prem to AI-Ready").Build and present high-level "Vision Demos" and prototypes that excite stakeholders and justify the investment.Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business outcomes that justify multi-year Professional Services contracts.Licensing & Deal StrategyDrive the Licensing Strategy (EA, CSP, Consumption Commitments) as a technical enabler for services projects.Justify the software investment to technical stakeholders, ensuring the "Resell" component is attached to every Services deal.Defend the technical scope during negotiations to ensure the integrity of the solution (and the deal size).The "Triad" CollaborationWith Sales Specialists: You provide the "Technical Hook" and credibility; they handle procurement, vendor management, and closing.With Sales Engineers: You define the Roadmap and Vision; you hand off to the SE for detailed architecture validation, deep-dive PoCs, and Man-Day estimation.Essential Experience:5+ years of experience in a Technical Sales, Customer Engineering, or Solution Architecture role (ideally at a Hyperscaler like Microsoft, Google, or AWS).Strong track record of originating and shaping large technology deals (>€200k TCV) involving Cloud, Data, or AI.Ability to "speak two languages": Technical (Architecture, APIs, Data Strategy) and Business (ROI, TCO, Roadmap).Technical Skills:Deep understanding of Cloud Ecosystems (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and how they map to enterprise needs.Comfortable building "Visionary" demos or prototypes (hands-on) to prove a concept, but disciplined enough to hand off production-level design to the SE team.Knowledge of Licensing models (Enterprise Agreements, CSP) is a strong plus.Soft Skills:"Hunter" Mindset: You are motivated by signing the deal and seeing the vision sold.Executive Presence: Comfortable challenging a CTO's assumptions and guiding them to a better solution.Collaborative: Ability to work in a shared-quota model without ego.Soft Skills:The Best of Both Worlds: The thrill of Sales (quota-carrying, high impact) with the depth of Tech (strategy, architecture), minus the administrative grunt work (contracts, procurement).Strategic Impact: You are not "staff augmentation"; you are selling the future of our most important clients.Competitive Package: Base Salary + Variable Commission based on Signing (Services + Licenses) and Strategic Pipeline Generation.The Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.
