Insurance Claims Handler

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be joining a dynamic team that supports the risk business, handles and evaluates claims related to national and international accounts, and provides quality service as a Marsh representative.

You will receive training and mentorship to learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry, including the day-to-day operations of our company. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop the skills necessary to support the growth and success of our business.

Initial 12-month contract, with potential for renewal.

We will count on you to:

• Work directly with one of Marsh's international account;

• Evaluate claims related to liability and property insurance;

• Follow up processes in order to cover, decline or ask for more documentation in order to re-evaluate;

• Reply to standard customer inquiries regarding the products and services the Company offers;

• Answer, document and monitor calls, emails and transactions;

• Track client information and log data in spreadsheets to assist with monitoring claim activity.

What you need to have:

• Degree in Law;

• Have a detail oriented and organized profile;

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (at least B2);

• Good knowledge of Microsoft tools.
