The project

We are seeking a
Databricks Architect

to work on a project for a Financial Company.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Architect and Implement Lakehouse Solutions

: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Databricks Lakehouse architectures;
- Build High-Performance Pipelines

: Develop scalable data pipelines using Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow;
- Governance & Optimization

: Define best practices for security, governance, performance, and cost optimization across enterprise data platforms;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration

: Work with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver advanced analytics and data products;
- Cloud-Native Solutions

: Drive architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Databricks as the central platform;
- Technical Leadership

: Mentor engineering teams and influence technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.

You need to have the following skills/experience:

  • Databricks Expertise

: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks;
- Cloud Data Architecture

: Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale data solutions in cloud environments;
- Strong Technical Skills

: Proficiency in PySpark, Scala, and Spark SQL;
- Lakehouse Knowledge

: Deep understanding of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse design patterns;
- Data Integration

: Experience handling batch, streaming, and API-based data ingestion;
- DevOps & Orchestration

: Familiarity with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and orchestrators such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory;
- Communication & Influence

: Strong communication skills with the ability to guide teams and influence architectural decisions.

Location

Porto Salvo (Hybrid -

3 days per week in the office

).
